There are a few #Friendica features that I love and yeah, there are some problems that drive me nuts, but two wonderful features are its seamless integration with #Bluesky, if you also have a Bluesky account, and the auto following of threads you in any way reacted to, either with a like, boost or reply.

The Bluesky integration is part and parcel of your Friendica account if the Admin enabled it. Not all do. And there is wonderfully no idiotic opt-in requirement like with the Bluesky ActivityPub bridge.

Here is a Bluesky message I found in my Friendica feed. I didn't realize at the time it originated in Bluesky because everything is so seamless. I replied to it, in Friendica, but it also was replied to by my Bluesky account.

All the likes and boosts are consolidated in Friendica and replies from Bluesky show up as if they came from any ActivityPub instance. There's a little icon with the messages to show their origin. This is wonderful decentralization.

And because I replied to a post, I get a notification for every other reply to the original message so I can stay in the conversation. In Mastodon, you have to remember to check back to see if there is any further discussion. It won't track the discussion for you.
