Yeah, that’s what I am thinking. Even if you derive a PQC key from a nsec, that’s kinda pointless. You can’t more security than what the root will give you.
Interestingly enough, I had a convo about this, with the head of a prominent PQC institute, and he said at a minimum, you need a ‘narrative’ on how you might transition to PQC, should the threat ever become real.
Meanwhile, the normies have their hair on fire about the PQC threat, while their databases are all stored in the clear on the internet protected by password held by a subcontractor.
