Red teamer tip: A Linux system with Wine installed will run Windows executables even if the files containing them don't have the executable ("x") attribute set.
It's obvious why it happens, if you think about it (the Windows executable is just data for Wine) but can be pretty surprising if you didn't think about it.
Great for attacking the user with malware delivered via the Internet (e-mail, browser, messenger, etc.).
Windows security is so bad that it even lowers Linux' security when the latter tries to emulate Windows...
