Heard one of the owls (fledgling great horned) while out working. Slowly made my way over, stopping and swaying, just a tree. Saw them both on the same maple branch maybe 15 feet up. More owly now, less fluffy, and their calls have changed to more screech, less whistle. One watched me sleepily, the other called every so often. They always fly off when I try to take their picture, so I just watched them for a bit, then went back to my work. Love ‘em so much.
