I'll be writing a lot about WoT and reputation in the catallax docs in the near future. Briefly, I think WoT - and subjective approaches like straycat (npub1u5n…ldq3) 's GrapeRank in particular - are a necessary component for Nostr to scale to a societally-significant protocol.
Systems like Catallax will really require GrapeRank-like subjective reputation systems if they're to become as valuable to people as I know they have the potential to be.
