Neurodivergent individuals, while often exceptionally skilled at detecting manipulation and social games, frequently find such behavior emotionally intolerable and mentally taxing. It’s not a matter of naivety or introversion , but of principle : a deep-rooted preference for sincerity over performative or deceptive interaction. This helps explain, in part, the rise of figures like the current politicians , who bypass polished rhetoric in favor of blunt, unfiltered communication even when that communication is deeply controversial. The appeal isn’t necessarily about endorsing their messages , it’s about the sheer relief of hearing something that doesn’t insult your intelligence. Personally, when someone tells me, ‘I’ll fuck you up,’ I have a strange kind of respect not because I admire aggression, but because at least I know where I stand. They spoke their truth without insulting my intelligence and I will be speaking mine . There’s no mask, no passive-aggressive performance just raw, unfiltered clarity. In a world saturated with scripted narratives and veiled agendas, many neurodivergent people don’t merely crave honesty they require it. They’d rather confront an uncomfortable truth than be pacified with a socially acceptable lie. That’s why traditional political language, full of euphemism, platitudes, and pretension, often feels more alienating than persuasive
