I read some notes (not nostr notes - just regular, plain old boring ones) about improving intelligence through different methods. One key method was reading - not just for information, but for vocabulary growth. The idea is that knowing more words helps you explain things with better precision, and you tend to think using these words too.
This connects with my belief that casting a wider net of opportunities leads to more success and contentment. Speaking of which - just ordered wood planks to build some bird nesting boxes with the kids, and if overtime pay allows, might also buy a telescope in time for February stargazing.
