Balika’s tribe is pretty direct about their desires. If any flirting happens, she isn’t aware. She’s ace/sex-averse, though she’s had a few romantic relationships, so she’s capable of letting people know she likes them one way or another.
We don’t get to see Sammah flirt — he isn’t interested in any relationships during the story, but I think he could be decent at showing interest and engaging in conversation if he felt like trying.
