quotingLinux peeps. So I seem to be correct in my speculation. Checking out my dnf list in Fedora 41 (just tested in-place upgrade), I found libargon2. I followed the dnf source (linked below) and found that they compile the official P-H-C argon2 C library just like myself. Except it's been abandoned for 6 years. I wonder how many other distros and packages rely on it. It's probably not reason to ring alarms, but it would be nice to see someone take over the argon2 library, there are some good PRs waiting last I checked.
