I've been a course coordinator here at UniMelb for four years now but today is the first in-person exam I've held. Over 1000 students in a ginormous building. 😬 Luckily UniMelb is doing most of the organisation, I just have to show up.
I wonder if students realise that we get almost as nervous as they do for these things. 😊 Did I make the questions clear and unambiguous? Is it a fair assessment of the content? Is it too hard? Too easy? Too long? Too short? Will I get lost on the way to the exam building? etc
But then I tell myself the same thing I tell them: you've done your best! You are a totality of a person and not just this one subject. Be proud of what you've done, and remember that it's about a lot more than the final result -- you're a worthwhile and deserving person no matter what happens.
