The DoorBot appeared on Season 5 Episode 9 of Shark Tank. The sharks failed to make a deal but the episode led to an additional jump in sales. The next year, the name of the company was changed to Ring.

Ring was sold to Amazon in 2018 for $839 Million - more than 100x the valuation since the Shark Tank episode five years prior.
