I have objected when Republican pols diagnose people from a distance for political gain, whether it's Terry Schiavo or Joe Biden. So just on general principles, I don't think people should be diagnosing Trump from a distance. Maybe he's demented, maybe he's self medicating, maybe he's just an asshole who doesn't think your name is important.
But specifically about Trump, let's not offer him an mental-defect defense for free.
