I feel that this whole thing of fast/xpress/contrast/1layer paints is like the amazon forest, big, deep and full of mysteries to be unraveled.
So I keep trying things and taken notes of them.
Today, I just found that Wasteland Brown (xpress) over Leather Brown* (colour), both Vallejo, make out a fast and great Leather* like finish. 👌
*Yeah, it might sound obvious, but I always felt that Leather Brown is too bright for a nice leather feeling, and the effect of the Xpress you can't get with 1 coat with other stuff like Smoke Ink or Black Wash.
