Our family van, a Kia, has an engine designed somewhat differently, in part to be better at cold starts (we’ve never had a problem, even after a -35° C night) but it means you can’t even get the normal type of heater.
I’m considering getting either that magnetic kind, or an oil pan heater, to help get the car warmer quicker (not to mention slow down wear)
