if experience has taught me that a black man deep in acting the part of his black hip hop culture cannot be trusted, then that is the experience not racism. if we are to get past a racist ideology then we need to lift ourselves up to be better people and not fit this manufactured perception of a black hip hop thug. it's the thug that's judged, not the melanin.
