The #GOP has practically claimed "patriotism" as belonging to them & them alone.
The flag waving slogans of "Support the Troops" during Iraq when Dems were protesting the war.
But… as they've proven w/their embrace of #CaptainBoneSpurs (a man who mocked McCain's heroism, called troops "Losers & Suckers", reluctantly visited military cemeteries, and visited the troops overseas 3x in 4 years as CiC), it was NEVER about "patriotism" and all about "pissing off the Dems".
