Well, I guess I have experienced that in some regard now that I think about it. As a landscape photographer, I have on occasion done that while out camping or backpacking: rolled out of my bag at zero unbelievable thirty in the morning to night hike to some location for a sunrise or golden hour shot. But that's very rare, not an every morning thing. And when I get back to camp I'm a zombie and must sleep for several hours.
