Institutions are smarter than average buyers. They wait and buy when there is liquidity available. 100k is a big psychological milestone, so there is a lot of liquidity (likely institutions and OGs selling, maybe even nation states), because they also know 100k is a big milestone. Can't last much longer with global liquidity (M2) on the rise though.
