In 2010 Airbus conducted a research study to find an optimal aeronautical typeface for cockpits. A couple years later they commissioned a full font family. They call it B612.
While it’s not quite my taste, it’s practical. What I like is its origin story. And also how they named it after the asteroid in Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic book “The Little Prince.”
