I’ve lived in this house since 1996 and I am still astonished by how fast cars and trucks drive by it — especially considering how short the street is.
80+ km/h is not uncommon. That’s at least secondary highway speeds, not residential neighbourhood speeds.
There’s an elementary school at the end of my street, and I see zero fucks given about child safety.
