I stopped supporting GAB with free content and "likes" after I saw Torba gift Pro status to MAGATard spam bots. I won't go back.
The Internet was filled with fun, smart people until 2007 when the first iPhone allowed any slobbering retard to get online.
Same with Nostr. The barrier to entry of learning basic key management is just slightly high enough to prevent idiots from flooding in. This results in a MUCH higher signal-to-noise ratio, and overall higher quality content.
