The ongoing existence/tolerance of the “Ivy League” in its current form has been a national embarassment for generations, and if you don’t understand why (hint: it’s the transparent & obvious oligarchy maintenance under the guise of academic rigor) you may be part of the problem.
The current things happening at Columbia are exactly the sort of behavior I expect from Ivy League institutions. I’m just hoping that now everyone else will take them less seriously.
