In Amsterdam, 150Kv cables got caught on a excavator(?) that a boat was transporting. \n\nI would have thought at a minimum that there was power loss, or that the boat got electrocuted. Or worse, all of the fish in the river were insta-fried.\n\nBut nope! The security systems kicked in instantly. The power cables just hang in the water, I think they are now out of the water. No loss of life, no interruptions to electricity. Amazing right?",
