So much was glossed over and a lot of what we learned was sheer propaganda. For whatever reason I have always been deeply interested in history, and am mostly self taught.
Teaching history, geography, current events at all levels of education would be a grand basis for educating well
citizens. Unfortunately trends are moving away from social sciences.
