The war in Ukraine is not the first war in human history.
What is different here is that maybe there has never been a more incompetent leader in this position of authority, in a critical moment as this.
War is the worst thing can happen to the people of every country.
And war can finish either by one of the enemies winning or by an agreement, a compromise, a surrender.
And there is nothing wrong with a compromise, if you care about your people.
Remember Greeks during WW2.
They fought bravely the Italians on the mountains of nowadays Albania, but when the Germans came, they surrender.
It's not cowarsness, it's realism.

You fight back to honor your nation, your flag, your army, your history, but then you compromise. Painful realism.

And NEVER, NEVER do you expect for someone else to scratch your back, if you can't scratch it yourself.
You can really never relay on other countries when it comes to long term war.

But how exactly Zelensky could possibly know all this??
