I do like to play or run #ttrpg with some good tactical combat - whether #GURPS , #DnD , #Pathfinder2e or others.
However, these require a battlemap of sorts which all players can look at - and the seating arrangement at our hosts' place makes this impossible. The table is too small and too full of clutter, and the players sit 1-2 meters away for it. Hence, only ttrpgs that allow for some level of abstraction are feasible with this group.
