Recall that Reforn UK wants to withdraw CITIZENSHIP from immigrants if they commit a crime. Not visas or permits or leave to remain, but citizenship! So even if you’re legally naturalised and pledged your loyalty to the monarch, they don’t think you’re really a Brit.
