Yeah -- genai feels like mobile ~12 years ago. Every company was scrambling to pivot from desktop to mobile experience, pouring all of time time and money into that. I can't imagine that the output of genai is worth the compute resources going into it, but companies are all feeling like they need to remain relevant. It's weird watching all of these huge companies scramble at the same time.
