OTOH, it doesn't have to be *your* job to deprogram them, and as a researcher it probably shouldn't be your job to do so.
Some people like B&W photography, some people like colour photography. It's dumb to demand people switch styles, and dumb to suggest everyone use low-saturation colour. Also, I'm crap at metaphor.
