In the context of Agora, I see it as a necessary compatibility tool for the wild web as it exists today. So I wouldn’t mind as much. You can’t fight on all fronts. I’d say go with the engine that requires less work. It’s not like you have a team of 20 people at the moment.
In my dreams I’d use just that but that requires fixing the whole internet:
