They were probably always there, but really got involved back then. You could see the racism, the lies, the denial of reality if you subscribed to any of the groups. They used the Gilets Jaune thing from France too as a tool. And I don’t think the way farming/agriculture is taught in colleges helps - because they teach far more about how to extract every molecule from birds, animals, crops without teaching nearly enough about environmental balance, re-wilding, protection of soil, water and air. It’s more about spreading slurry, quickest way to fatten and sell on, which pesticides are most effective, budgeting.
