I love it here!
I’ve been experimenting with Nostr for a year or maybe a bit more. It’s fascinating and I’m convinced that it will take over the world just like bitcoin will. Because freedom and sovereignty and privacy matter now more than ever and you no longer get those things (and never really could) in any centralized system or platform.
As for Mastodon, their approach will fail (has failed already?) because instead of true freedom and sovereignty they allow people to create small kingdoms where individuals rule and these individuals are just as flawed and vulnerable to coercion (by private individuals or organizations/government agencies) as the kings and queens of centralized platforms.
Btw Nos via TestFlight is my fav client these days.
I also use connect.nos.social to repost my posts to Twitter to retain some reach and “lure” people to Nostr. Incremental migration strategies for social ftw! Just like in software engineering!
