Conscription works in a racially homogenous nation. Where people are getting lost is not in whether they will try it or not, because they will.
It won't work because when the shooting starts, we will be in a race war. It won't matter if the government demands that you defend them. What will matter is what color the other men holding guns will be. If you can see men in your line-of-sight, and you are a - normal healthy capable White Man - no amount of "training" is going to make you point your weapon at another White Man and kill him, when you can just point at any variant of brown or nigger and kill that guy instead.
Conscription works when the men being drafted are being - forced - to defend their own people and homes.
Conscription cannot work - and has NEVER worked in all of history - when the hostile foreign power ruling over an occupied nation demands that the occupied nation then defend that hostile foreign power.
When you give those men weapons, the first thing they do is kill the foreign power ruling them.
You cannot conscript your enemies to defend you.
The Soviets were conscripted by the millions, way back when, to defend their People from "the nazis" who really were invading and killing them. Who would we be defending ourselves from?
