Gluttony and sloth. Couple that with food suppliers being greedy as fuck, filling almost everything with cheap fillers that are terrible for us etc. The education system really doesn't help either... Nor does families needing 2+ wagies to keep them floating, doesn't leave much time to pass on life skills like healthy cooking or growing a garden.
