Good news and bad news. Bad news is I had my first shimmer ink clog (even in a TWSBI 580). Good news is a brass sheet saved the day. Quick swipe down the nib slit and another between the nib and feed and it's flowing freely again.
Yesterday I had tried a few other basic things with no success, but this fixed it instantly without having to empty the pen and give it a thorough cleaning.
