Every year for the past three years, I've wondered whether one or more larger fedi instances would shutdown over a lack of funding.
So far, I've been wrong, and I've been so pleased to be wrong.
But I can't help shake the feeling that it is only a matter of time.
Big instances generally means pretty big server bills, but not necessarily big or regular donations.
