Roger Hallam made this point in a Novara Media interview Mar 2023. I have a clip of it in video “Immune to Reason”. One of the major log jams in economics consist of running into moral sentiments created by phrases, “government debt”.
I think this is true in much more daily life. Education should include awareness of it, along with a good course in rhetoric (ie persuasion).
