Responding to "believe victims" with "we can't believe false accusations!" is the sexual justice equivalent of responding to "black lives matter" with "all lives matter".
We say "believe the victims" not to create a dynamic that anyone can abuse with false accusations. We say "believe the victims" because no one ever does, and that's awful. If someone asks you for your belief, listen to them in earnest, and be _prepared_ to believe them, even if it's hard. Even if they accuse someone you trust.
