New blog post: “The Problem of Embeddable Interactions”
https://blog.kizu.dev/embedded-interactions/When I created my blog, I implemented the same thing I did on my main site: a custom element that links to the #Mastodon post where I shared the link to the post, and which also shows the number of replies, favorites, and boosts.
I saw others implement this as well. Now, people are also adding the same for reactions on bluesky as well.
I won’t do it.
