Random unsupported hypothesis:
The real reason behind CRT in schools and the other transparent attempts to transform our children into racists, is to move the Overton window on racial equality, so as to minimize the backlash (and potentially create popular support) when it finally leaks that the government is working on racially-targeted bioweapons.
Once you've normalized people hating each other based on race, it becomes a simple matter of propaganda to tell them which races to hate.
