Following on from my last few threads about what the web should be, and some discussions in our little irc channel...
I spent yesterday evening deep diving into the gemini (protocol) ecosystem - wrote a few gemini servers, tried a few browsers.
Some thoughts:
I really like gemini, I like that writing a server takes a few minutes, I really like how small and uncomplicated the browsers are. Feels cozy.
I especially like the vision of supporting client side certificates / per-site identities.
