Spitballing WHY populist fascists are shit at running an economy:
1. Their base wants emotionally satisfying SIMPLE answers to every problem. Economics is never simple.
2. Authoritarianism means never having to listen when somebody tells you that you're wrong (and explains why).
3. Conspiracy theories are more emotionally satisfying than reality.
