I'm adopted by the King of kings.
He has no castle, necklace, or rings.
In fact, it is he who serves for me.
He heals my hurts and soul lovingly.
He does not tax, kill, shame, or oppress.
He only lifts up with lovingness.
A greater man I will never meet.
It shames me to say he washed my feet.
When his enemies came to destroy.
He did not call on me to deploy.
I would have and it would have been just.
He surrendered peacefully for us.
They cheered as he died on Calvary.
But now he reigns for eternity.
Till the end of my days, my soul sings.
I'm adopted by the King of kings.
