I pointed at every plantain, reminding the guy from conformity enforcement that 'plantains are ornamental, dandelions are food crops and since I don't yet know what kind of little meadow grass this little plant is, I'm gonna let it grow for a while until I can identify it. It might be native too, and it definitely hosts a lot of little insects. Come look at these little guys!'
In all honesty, the guy seemed relieved when i agreed create to just make a little edge of smooshed over plants, and he came back and took a picture of the shortest part of the yard and closed the report.
It was very stressful but so worth it!
