When not occupied with other matters on the home-front this afternoon, I was finally able to implement some new features in the program that collects flight data for me from (a specially modified version of) dump1090.
The only noteworthy one worth discussing, is that if the user elects to do so, the ‘state’ of the program can be saved so that it can be restored when the program is next run.
This is useful when you’re interested in minimizing redundant metadata.
