Looks like Fedi isn't going to be the Full Twitter Replacement, at least not for everyone. Wonder what (if anything) will be.
OTOH, it's not going away either. Will stay around, showing what's possible, sprouting new features, ideas, projects and instances. That is going to count a lot as a lasting alternative to enshittification.
