Next stop in the early 16th century chivalric epic Orlando Furioso? The moon, obviously, and specifically the valley of lost things, where everything can be found that is lost on earth. Lost wealth, lost reputations, broken promises, the hours that we lost playing meaningless games, lost loves, all charity ("which is forgotten as soon as the giver dies"). And especially Reason, which people lose more than anything else, even though they never notice it.
