Back from a multi-day trip to bear and wolf land. Lots of hiking, sometimes in difficult terrain, it was a good exercise for body and mind.
I saw a black bear catching salmon after salmon to feed her three insatiable cubs. They spent their time observing her and play fighting.
I saw a pod of orcas passing by very close to shore, possibly hunting, many shorebirds, ducks, and bald eagles.
It was another amazing trip in the wilderness on Vancouver Island.
