For me it was discovering the health benefits of Chlorine Dioxide. It saved my ass and my families too many times to count, I think I've probably saved more in healthcare costs by using Chlorine Dioxide and avoiding the doctors than I could ever save in Bitcoin to offset it. Without a healthy dose of skepticism of Big Pharma and my health still in check, I doubt I would be the bitcoiner I am today.
