House prices are rising too fast. There’s no reason that my childhood house is should be 4.5x price today. Also interest rates being 7-8% on a house. Oof… many people are being priced out.
Luckily I got in before rates went up. If I hadn’t I’d be paying almost 1,000 more a month in my mortgage…!
My parents used to rent a 3 bedroom for 600 in the 90s. Now that’ll barely get you a rented bedroom on a Craigslist ad.
